Heart Chakra: Anhata
The heart chakra binds the body (lower three chakras) and the mind (upper three chakras) and therefore works to balance your emotion and logic. As we focus on this chakra it is important to hone in on what makes you happy instead of setting expectations for every moment of life. Try not to second guess your actions. Be your best self and then trust that the people who respect that person deserve to be in your life. Assume that every person around you acts with good intention and begin to let go of the negative energy their actions may provoke.

- Smile at someone as you walk down the street
- Don’t hold grudges
- Give friends, family, coworkers random positive feedback
- Try not to criticize anyone for one day each week

Know that this posture and lifestyle, opening your heart, can be really uncomfortable... find a safe space once a week and sit in a heart opening position, just breath... notice your vulnerability, notice your mind... begin to accept yourself, begin to love yourself.
