After spending six years in Washington, DC, that city holds such a warm spot in my heart. Beyond the obviously incredible tourist attractions, the art & culture scene in DC is something to be excited about. This insanely walkable city features unique neighborhoods with a mix of mom & pop shops and Michelin Star restaurants. Whether you’re in the mood for great music, a poetry slam, a book signing, jazz, outdoor breweries, or a nightcap at a speakeasy, DC’s got it all. Here’s a list of a few favs:
