My new book is for anyone who wants to fuel their bodies while healing their gut. We know how uncomfortable and overwhelming it is to want to eat foods that make you feel good but to not know how. We believe that our differences shape who we are on the inside and on the outside, and we never want anyone to feel uncomfortable when choosing to support their gut or supporting their loved one in their decision to do so. Our book is written from the point of view of an Integrative Nutrition and Health Coach living with SIBO (small intestinal bacterial overgrowth) and a Certified Nutritionist. We want everyone to be able to prepare healthy breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, and snack recipes that fit their lifestyle, and that they feel confident and comfortable about whipping up. Our recipes are meant to be quick and simple. This book should help anyone who reads it understand what FODMAPs are and why we should look out for them. It includes details about what it means for foods to be anti-inflammatory, how to practice mindful eating, tips we've learned from our personal experience and those of our clients, and how to get started tackling a FODMAPs diet. We include our "go-to" list of no-to-low FODMAP foods and our list of staple grocery items for those last minute, late night grocery store trips. Together, we will normalize healthy gut habits!
